- Modern cat sharing a cats-eye view of the world. I am a recovering catnip addict. I spent the first part of my life living as a stray, strung out on catnip. I went door to door begging for food and scored the occasional catnip. This is not a time in my life I am proud of. I was taken in off the streets by the local SPCA where I went through detox. It was not an easy road. Through faith, and self licking techniques I dealt with all obstacles. I know I will always be a catnip junkie, but by taking life one paw at a time I know I will persevere.
